The European Scientific Institute (ESI), is an international non-governmental organization, which cooperates with Universities and academic centers all over the world, by organizing international events, joint scientific publications, memorandums of understanding, students exchange and the like. ESI represents a bridge for exploration from all over the world, thus contributing to the promotion of the modern scientific accomplishments.
Within the frames of the Institute, once a month the prestigious international scientific magazine European Scientific Journal is being published, in which the scientists from more than 50 countries from all over the world present their academic achievements. The international prestige is due to the quality Editorial team of the journal consisting of rectors, deans, professors and scientists from more than 40 countries.
The University of the Azores
(Portuguese: Universidade dos Açores), Azores Islands, Portugal, was created in 1976 with the aim of promoting the sustainable development of the archipelago.
Currently it has about 6195 students, 466 professors and 235 employees. It is located in the cities of Ponta Delgada (island of São Miguel), Angra doHeroísmo(island of Terceira) and Horta (island of Faial). The University of the Azores is organized by departments and schools, primarily geared to education and research.
